Hollowbody II Piezo SE- 2 Questions

A couple of questions:

Is the piezo system on the HB II SE the same as the core system?

Can the mini toggle be installed on the SE as in the Core to control Piezo/Magnetic selection?

IDK if the Piezo system is exactly the same but PRS has snuck core components into an SE before and it sounds great!

You can def put a toggle switch in there but it will not be easy or fun. Search up the forum there are a couple posts that review this.

When Jack was researching piezo, he wanted good sound at a production price point. They are different from the cores, but I like the sound of mine. The core are even better.

Not exactly the same, but very comparable….and yes, it’s not horribly difficult to add the 3-way mini-toggle (and add a push-pull coil-split tone pot while you’re at it). I did buy a seemingly unused used core from Dave’s a few months after getting the SE and I have to say, I think the SE’s piezo sound is a bit more natural to me, especially when blending in a tad of the neck humbucker.
