I just got 53-10 pickups and old rotary switch installed in my all hog CE22. The two wires coming from the Vol and tone pots were too big for the circuit board on the rotary so I replaced those. I also had tuning issues with this guitar when I got it, it wouldn't return to zero. I took the trem off and found three of the fulcrum holes damaged so I put an old trem off of one of my other guitars that now has a mann trem.. Had some new fulcrum screws so those went on as well.

I put new strings on and gave it a really quick setup so I could hear what it sounds like. I'll have to go back and really dial it in but so far I'm digging it! The rotary works as it should and it seems to stay in tune.

I was going to let this one go but now I'm not so sure I want to do that. I'll have to wait till next weekend to try it out on my gig rig.

Bangin'! I'd love to hear 53/10's on the "second" position of rotary. They seem like the nicest sounding splits on CTGR's old videos... which is the only experience I have with those pups.

I'll see about pics but it will have to be later. Today is wife's birthday so the party begins!

My pickup screws are too short on bridge pickup so I'll have to change those and I just cannot get acclimated to those winged tuners. I've got a set of ph 2s in my drawer somaybe those will have to go on.

Sounds like you have something pretty darn cool. I really, really like the 53/10s on the right guitar.
