What the gravy and cheese!!!!
So, some of you are aware I had wrestled with the idea of a refinish of my 95 custom 24 to top. After much thought and suggestions from friends and forum members I sent off my favorite prs to get a make over.
Before she went of I did mod her to the specs i wanted on pickups and wiring of electronics.
dragon II to ME pickups
upgraded saddles- old ones where tarnished and checking
amber control knobs to clear
5 way rotary to 3 way toggle, and coil tap on tone.
changed strap buttons to gold

While I was having the Great folks at PTC work on the new color. I decided to change out the wing tuners to phase III--it was a nice surprise to see the tuner knobs where changed to gold to match the hybrid hardware on the pickups. First pick is from Matt at PTC.
Now the finished project
And as I had hoped, the figuring of the maple comes out very nicely with this color.
