Today, all of a sudden, my 594 b/E strings sound like there is a high fret. This guitar is 'new' to me - I bought it used almost two weeks ago. The guitar was perfect when I bought it, as I played it for about 2 hours before I went home with it. I even rehearsed a tonne all last week for a new band audition. Lots of songs have solos up in this area and I can for sure state that there was zero issues.

All of a sudden today, it sounds like the strings are bending up to a 'high fret' in the higher areas. What gives? No major setup changes were done. The relief is still bang on, action is 5/64ths on low E and 4/64th high E at the 12th fret. I am at a loss - maybe it has something to do with the climate and change in weather? The guitar is out on a stand in my furnished basement jam area.

Here is what it sounds like:

IMO....
In the area you were playing, truss rod adjustments have little effect. Yours', obviously has just enough. I'd 'fix it l' wiith some 'fall way' in fret level.

I don't know if it hit your location the same as mine, but we're in a pretty drastic cold snap and humidity is crazy low too. Definitely affecting mine!
