Hi Guys, been playing PRS on and off for I guess 20 years having had a Custom 22 trem in the late 90s, sold it and last year I grabbed an S2 Mira, then I grabbed an S2 Standard 22 Satin late last year and Today I ordered an SE Zack Meyers to beat around on, grabbed all guitars for under a grand new and Im hooked....Love the scale length, love the body styles and love the tones...I have been reading the posts for the last few months and I see the S2 series isn't that popular but I think theyre awesome guitars for the money and I just sold my les Paul finally that wouldn't stay in tune whereas my Gigging Mira guitar stays in tune for the entire set! Hope the SE ZM which I got for a steal will be enjoyed just as much! Ill post pics as soon as I figure out how its done..lol

Hey Russ - welcome! Sounds like you have a fine stable there. I agree that the S2s are phenomenal values, and really solid, stable guitars.

I had an SE ZM when the semi hollow first came out, first run I think, in Trampass Green. Got it from John Mann - had him put a USA nut on it and set it up for .10s and it sounded and played awesome. Not a SC guy so I ended up selling it and using the funds toward another PRS - but great guitars...

So what are your thoughts leaning toward for #4? ;)

Thx guys, yeah Carl I don't love the singlecut as much either but the Zm was so lightweight and the unfinished neck and short scale length and don't forget the price I had to give it a shot, as for my 4th its going to be one of the next generation of affordable US made models like a CE bolt on or I was told there will be some new S2 models coming about so well see whats coming! As far as the S2s not being as popular go pick up a Gibson in that price range and tell me it doesn't kill it....

Welcome!
Some day I would need to consider selling my LP too, as it's being used less and less and less (and not at all)...

I was told there will be some new S2 models coming about

... do you mean "someday, in the future, some new S2 will eventually arrive", which I agree it is likely, or do you really have information about them?

Welcome aboard, and pay no attention to the negative S2 posts.
I have a 2015 S2 Custom 22 Semi-Hollow, and I enjoy playing it more than my 2013 408.
My S2 is flawless.

Yes Jay I have some info that some new S2s will arrive but they are not sure what is being worked on, excited to see what they come up with!
