HFS/Vintage Bass vs. #7 Treble/Bass

Between the HFS/Vintage Bass and the #7 Treble/Bass, which set is closer to the PAF pickup? I haven't heard the #7 pickup set, but the HFS/V Bass set sounds like high output pickups.

The #7 set is closer, but far from the closest offered by PRS. The 57/08, 59/09, and 53/10 sets are way closer.

You're correct about the HFS/VB……high output, but they can still be tamed. I love them in my Cu24.

This. #7s are closer to PAFs than an HFS/VB set are, but they're still a bit higher output than PAFs are.

If you can find them, McCarty pickups are pretty close to PAFs
