i have a SE singlecut, I'm thinking about putting the electronics from a 05 CU24. Has anyone tryed HFS/VB and a rotary switch in a se? I'm sure it would be a upgrade from the SE electronics

I was going to to the same thing with my SE Tremonti using a set of Dragon II's that I scored cheap. my idea was
Toggle switch rewired as kill switch or wiring removed completely
2 volume
1 tone
5 way switch
My partner then said she would get me a new SE santana as a christmas gift, so that would give me 2 Santana's, a 2013 & a 2017/18. So i ditched the plans for the tremonti and put the 5 way the 2013 model and wired it the custom pickups I already had installed. It sounded fantastic but I really wanted the dragons in there so off she went to my tech, (he's fitting a new bone nut and a push pull tone connected to the brdige HB so I can get both humbuckers on together)
