I would like to see a Maryland made guitar and amp aimed at the metal crowd. Give me a McCarty body with the new \m/ pickups in a brushed black satin finish, gloss black to be able to use plain maple top and keep costs down, and blacked out trem and hardware.

The amp could be head or combo but load it with handfuls of 12ax7's and el34's.

Sign me up for both.

This with a Floyd Rose version as well.

You want 408's with piezo?

Something like this maybe?

You sir need to head PRS' new product department.

That is one fine guitar. Figured maple neck? Pattern? 22 fret?

You gotta tell me how that beauty sounds please, and also how it compares to your P22.

I can't take credit for the design, that was Brian from Brian's guitars all the way. He selected the wood and specified the layout, all I did was buy it.

24 frets, that last little inlay with the owl is a dead giveaway for that. The back of the neck is sick, the sound (piezo I assume?) is different from the P22. Not a huge difference, but it's there. Big difference between the 408's and the 53/10's in the P22. Pattern regular neck. It sounds and plays like you'd expect it would, amazing.

Well I guess Brian should head PRS' new GAS department. But you at least specified to him what you wanted.

It does look amazing.

Any clips or recordings with it that you wouldn't mind sharing?

Brian did it all, I was just in the right place and time to get it. I wouldn't have thought of a Custom 24 w/trem, 408's and a piezo. The colors are the one thing that I've been trying to find forever.

Sorry, no clips, I'm shy.....LOL

Wait just a dog-gone second...

We PRS players are not mere Consumers!

Why, we are highly intelligent, well-educated, experienced fine artists who use the tools of our craft either professionally or as seasoned amateurs, to perfect the creation of Musical Art.

Yes.

So enough of this word, "consumer." It's just so inappropriate when it comes to an artist and how he/she chooses his/her tools. ;)

Do you know any piano consumers? Neither do I. Violin consumers? Hell no.

I don't even know a consumer of those little teeny "tiptoe through the tulips"ukeleles.

That PS was on my redar screen for sometimes. Really tempting but I would love my PS to have headstock with binding and a little more "figured" headstock veneer

Great idea for this one anyway, great job Brian!

God I have been praying!
I sent a copy of the specs and link to the thread to Jack Higginbotham. Actually I nudged him several times and promised not to bring it up again the last time.

I'm guessing it's not going to happen.
