Help!

I am not guitar tech savy but I am looking to upgrade my pots on my PRS SE Santana model how do I order them by guitar or are they universal?I just bought grover locking tuners 406c.Thanks ahead of time!Happy 4th July!!!

If you order from a "guitar place" (Musician's friend, guitar center, local mom and pop place) you'll be ok. Make sure they're 500k for Humbuckers, 250k will be a lot darker sounding, 1m will be a lot brighter. You'll probably have to ream the holes for the new ones but it's not that hard, you'll just need a ream.

I've gone to RS Guitarworks, and bought the 550 K+_5% pots for the volume controls. They do make things sound brighter, but that's why we have tone controls on the amp. I also believe it's easier to cut the treble than to boost it. I could care less about the tone controls. Some day I might use one........

Yeah 550k is a popular mod for HB guitars.
