Boys,
I cannot seem to find exactly how to wire this harness with a set of Duncan SH-18 (the jimmy page set) 'buckers.

Doing this in an '07 CU24 artist.

Duncan's www has schematic that is "close" as does PRS...but I don't feel that either are spelling it out.

HELP PLEASE!
Pretty sure about- red/white go together and connect to hole closest to top of pot n the push/pull... & that I should solder ground and green together on the bottom of the push-pull...just not sure what to do with the black. or am I way off base?

I saw a thread on the Duncan forum that talked about flipping magnet poles...arrgh.

Don't be a hater- I just want to try a new set o PUPs, plus- the rotary and HFS/Vbass set has got to go. I had the Page PUPS in another guitar and LOVED them...

Any help would make my new Marshall stack much happier! Free set of strings to the one who can helpeth and put me on the right path...

If I am correct the page setup calls for 2 vol and 2 push/pull to achieve page settings. If that is correct, not sure how u would get that from a prs with less control options. Can u post the diagram you want to work in the cu 24? what do you want to do, with the pickups, ie split, series, parallel, in phase out of phase. My knowledge on the sh-18 is not good. I would need to see how they are wired to better assist. I will check them out see what I can learn.

-- the black leads should be hot for pickups and they solder to the outer leads of the toggle switch. The center leads get solders to vol pot.

hey-thanks for your insight- I had them in a guitar with the same setup as the PRS harness- 1 vol. 1 tone w/push-pull and a 3 way toggle. they worked great, simply wired as a coil split, nothing fancy like a Page LP setting or anything.
the Page Duncan pups are pretty much the same as their other 4 lead passive pups.

the Duncan schematic shows the push pull on the volume pot, not tone...and the prs one obviously shows prs pups..

ok, then you have the wiring setup correct. the black wire is you pickup hot and connect to the 3way toggle. The red is combine with white and is the tap lead to the push pull. the green is combined with ground and is grounded to volume pot. as for the best prs schematic to use, try

for the push pull, the white lead they mention would be your red/white combined lead for the sh-18. also for the cap, .22 is standard for most humbuckers, but PRS has moved to .33. Use what Duncan recommends for the sh-18. Have fun wiring it up. Post a pic of you handy work or the guitar!!!!

Ok, so I am almost there…but- the pic here shows how the harness came stock. I am not sure about why there is one wire already soldered to the bridge pup lead? The red on the right side- but nothing on the left side?

I’ve got everything soldered in save the black “hot” from each pup…and I;m not sure what to do here. The prs schematic from above seems like it contradicts the harness?

Re solder the controls as the schematic states. Sometimes when you order stock controls from prs they have this done, not sure why. But resolder the exact way you see on the schematic.
