Help verifying Korina McCarty

Howdy,

New member here. I just purchased a Korina McCarty with Brazilian Rosewood in a solid classic red finish and am in love with this guitar. It's the guitar picture on my profile. I received all the paperwork and hang tag from the dealer but I just can't see the word Korina written anywhere.

I can normally tell Korina from other woods, but this guitar is finished with a solid color form tip to tip. It does come with a sheet from PRS stating that the fretboard is Brazilian Rosewood and the regulations and so regarding this wood, but I just wanted to make sure that the body and neck are Korina. Not that I care much since I already love how this guitar plays and sounds, but in case one day circumstances force me to sell it (hope that day never comes) and, you know, buyers want to know all the specs of what they're buying.

The serial number is 13 XXXXXX and the hang tag states ASSEMBLED BY KFT. Any info? Thanks a ton!

Is there by chance a sticker on the case?

If so, the MODCAT will start with MCK2.

Mine reads MCK2-KFBBB-BS-MM-MM

Well, the next place for the MODCAT code is under the neck pickup (I believe).

Or an email to customer service (who are very prompt).

The MODCAT may also be on the back of your hang tag.

You need to use a photo sharing site like Photobucket. Upload your pics there and then cut/paste into your post.

Exactly. The FAQ is outdated, the forum doesn't allow direct uploading of photos except for the Mods, I think (that's how Hunter/Shawn get the photos attached for the PSF thread, for example).

Thanks so much guys. I emailed Customer Service and got a response within hours. They confirmed it all. Korina body and neck with Brazilian Rosewood fretboard. Man, this thing is awesome. I picked it up right after breakfast and it's 4:46 PM and haven't put it down yet.
