maple cap on back with matching control covers. put a nice warm sounding wood in the middle like walnut or mahogany.
Black Limba wins! So, we have a 594 Semi-Hollow, one-piece quilt top with Black Limba body (matching plates) I think its probably time to talk color since it will effect a lot of the upcoming choices, SO Question #4 What should the finish color be? (Friendly reminder...Dragons Breath is not a finish color, its a finish style!) If you have a new color idea, post some photos!
What about a take on white tiger but a different hue like a "whiteish" blonde. Call it butterscotch. Satin for back and neck.
I'm digging the tequila sunrise dragon's breath...but the other way around...lighter part toward the neck...I'd call it "Volcano"!
Yes...and then a reverse "birds of a feather" fingerboard...flamed maple yellow to orange fade going up the neck...with the birds at the top near the headstock charcoal color (like ash). I know Brian...probably like "10 Bajillion dollars"...
