I'm going to have to start again. Why I try to link images from Imgur to these boards, does anyone know which link I need to copy over?

Is it the image link, direct link, HTML link, bb code link or linked bb code link that I should be using?

On the mobile app, you need to tap to the photo itself and not the post. The address will end with .jpg.

On desktop, I generally copy/paste the bb code directly into my post

All else being equal, I'd take the one on the right. Otherwise I'd take the one that sounds best to me.

I also keep coming back to my faded whale blue which they also have.

If it was a 10 top, I wouldn't think twice but this just isn't the best example of this finish.

The red. But I'm a completely unflashy person so I'm not sure where that came from and I might be a bit embarrassed by the bling!

My initial thought was the red, hands down, but then you posted the faded blue one. I'm leaning toward the blue, if it's only about the looks.

Honestly, I'd have to do a tone shootout to decide between them. If you can't get there, have someone do a simple iPhone clip with an amp similar to the one you use, with clean tones so you can hear the detail in the thing. I think they have facilities to do more detailed clips, maybe they'll do one that compares them for you.

The red has the nicest top. If you want something less flashy, the faded whale blue top looks more even in flame all the way around but more understated. Grey black has too much unflamed area in spots for me, just looks uneven. Violet blue burst is incapable of being unflashy

It's a good thing to have choices.

If looks are you thing, I like the red, but the faded blue is a beaut as well.
If tone/sound is...I would ask for some sound clips as stated above. Then make your decision.

I'm assuming the whale blue is less money. I'd probably choose it because it's a nice non-10. That number means nothing to me btw, other than resell, since others seem to think it's some kind of magic.
Of the other three, I'd choose red, purple (I love purple guitars), and way behind the pack..........black. But hey, it's SUBJECTIVE. Choose the one you like!


Edit: I've rethought this. I'd choose the 245 McCarty SC.
