Hi all, I'm pleased to say that I am now the very proud owner of a PRS guitar, but I'm not sure how old or what model is is, I checked the serial number online but it was a bit vague, so I could do with a little help for insurance purposes.

Looks like a 2007 Custom 24 in Vintage Yellow to me. Pretty standard setup...maple top, mahogany back and neck, rosewood board. Not sure about the pickups....maybe PRS #7's or some variation of the Dragons. Pulling them and flipping them over will reveal what they are, though.

Agreed - 2007 Custom 24 with the optional 3-way toggle switch/push-pull pot for coil splitting.

Nice top on that one, too.

The only PRS pickups that I remember having zebra bobbins with any regularity are #6’s. That’s assuming they are PRS pickups and haven’t been swapped out.

edit: a little digging shows zebra #6’s on 2007 Experience guitars. Most I saw were opaque finishes though.

Thank you all for your replies, very helpful indeed. This is one lovely lively guitar, it seems to produce more harmonics than fundamentals. :)
I've never had the pleasure of playing a PRS before I bought this, so I'm looking forward to making up for lost time.

Thanks again.

Oh, I suspect that one is going to set the PRS hook in deep.

Congrats on your 2007 Custom 24 in Vintage yellow with a rosewood fretboard, phase II tuners, and optional three way switching with coil tapped #6 zebra stripe pickups!!!

I think the color is Amber. Vintage yellow guitars generally have a red back and headstock. Beautiful guitar!
