based on modcat it is a 10 top single cut smoke burst with 57/08 covered pickups. rosewood fret board, 22 fret wide pattern neck maple on hog . I assume the 45 is for 245 model

Ok cool that's what I have, the finish looked like washed chery. Thanks for the replies!

According to the OP's other (first) post on the forum, he/she has a McCarty SC245.

At that point it wasn't in my hands and i was planning a rewire and wanted to have parts that fit, the color didn't look right and I thought the code was supposed to be in neck cavity. When I got it, it was in bridge cavity and the "45" didn't cross reference a model, so I was double checking to make sure it wasn't one of those fine copies from China. I've owned a CU22 and a McCarty many years ago, but am not familiar with newer models.
Thanks for the replies and help
BTW the Duncan Seth Lovers will stay packaged, the 57/08's are incredible. Just have that ring and clank with my Fargen thru Greenback 25's

Congrats. She's hot!

Yeah, 57/08s are pretty damn good pups. I have yet to take them out of anything they came in or I put them in.

According to the MODCAT decoder, a "regular" SC245 should be code T4. So I would assume the "45" is the code for a Ted SC245. (What exactly is the difference between a regular SC245 and a Ted SC245?) (Frankly, the codes seem like they should be the other way around...but what do I know!)

If the Chinese copies are bothering to put in fake but real-looking MODCATs, they are really making a good effort!

So it looks like the MODCAT table needs updating, and maybe some other TED SC245 owners can chime in with some more data points...

And glad you like the 57/08s! I need a PRS with those in them...
