Hey everyone,

Hoping I can get some more info with one of my guitars. Little background, I’m a huge Dave Navarro fan and my grail guitar is/was owning a Core Signature Navarro model. I was luckily able to acquire one from someone who provided proof they had not only worked with Dave but had been gifted one of his core models. He unfortunately fell on some hard times during Covid so I saw an opportunity and we struck a deal.

The guitar is for sure a USA core model however it also has the AS stamp imprinted on the back. I also was able to strike up a convo with Dave’s guitar tech who verified that he put the specific tuners on the guitar and essentially verified it was one of Dave’s personal guitars.

Im just wondering if anyone could provide more info on it such as when it was sent out to the artist or just any other general information.

Unfortunately is doesn’t look like I can post photos.

I have a PS McCarty Singlecut model (2014) that was originally meant to go out to PRS’ artist roster, but went to my dealer instead. It’s not stamped ‘AS’.

It says “Artist Relations” on the back in the gold pen they use for other PS models.

Which, obviously, is different from Artist Stock. Maybe they changed the nomenclature at some point?

From Day One it’s been my most resonant guitar, and it still is. Wouldn’t surprise me if they want to get nice examples into their artists’ hands.

Awesome, thanks for the info all as well as the photo hosting site. Luckily I was able to upload a few pics
They’re guitars made as “loaners” for artists on their roster and also used to “entice” other artists to sign on.
As far as posting pics, you’re going to need a picture hosting site.
I use https://postimages.org/ . Simple, easy, and free.
thanks for the suggestion on the photo site!
