Had two DGTs in the past that played great but sold them for one reason or another. Just bought a preowned one that is super clean but has very high action 2mm on treble side and 2.25mm on bass side. Almost unplayable to me. Before I return it I wanted to see if I could lower the action myself. I’ve done it on my strats no problem but not sure how to do it on the PRS tremolo since it’s supposed to be floating.

Do I adjust the string saddles, the pivot screws, or the trem claw or some combination?

Thanks in advance!

The bridge must be set to a 10” radius, The trem should be parallel to the body. Start with the relief. If you need to lower the trem, you must loosen the strings and disconnect the springs. I just had to do the same thing to a reclaimed ce24 I traded for. It was all kinds of wrong in the setup. It took me 3.5 hours to clean it and set it up, it was so effed up.
