Hello there! First timer here after buying my first PRS

Hey there! I've always been a Strat player but decided to buy myself a new PRS S2 Custom 24 for my bday last month.

I'll start with this, I'm considering putting pickup covers on my PRS, I'd prefer it doesn't affect sound so I'm thinking ones with the holes in it. Can you guys show me your PRS' with pickup covers so I can get some ideas (especially if you have a prs in the same color as I do)? Also any advice, tips, links to good products etc.. I'd love to hear your opinions, even if I don't agree I'd like to hear what you think would look best. Thanks!

How do you like it? I've read about a lot of people swapping out the pups... I really like the neck pup.. the bridge isn't bad either... I'll mess with pup height, amp setting, pedal board etc before I think about swapping pups... I actually like them a lot anyway... I likely won't swap them out

I think covers will affect the output. The only covers I’ve seen have 6 holes (not 12) and those would have to line up perfectly. I’ve always preferred the topless look and sound.
Your guitar looks amazing as is; no need to cover her up.

So far so good. No complaints. But then again, I only have old Vox ad50vt 2x12 amp to play through.

I have a moss green one. I really don’t think anything needs to be changed, other than maybe a cosmetic change if you have an idea. I put wooden rings on mine. That’s it. The pickups will sound different with covers. Mine are bone stock. I really like the way it sounds. You picked a great way to start.

Excellent first choice! I also have a S2 Cu24 myself (love it), and stock looks fine to me. If it had zebra, maybe cover them, but all black looks cool, and sounds wonderful.

This is a SE Cu24 from a couple years ago that I put covers on, for comparison. Being zebra, and in this particular guitar, I preferred with covers.
