Hi all,

Just new on this Forum, I am French and live in France. I am just rediscovering and enjoying the PRS guitar I bought may be ten years ago or more and which I have not played since many years. Actually, I am not sure to recall what model it is (can't find the invoice) and I thing the guitare have an pickup wiring issue. Where in this forum should I post questions on pickup wiring, is "general discussion" the right place?

I think you could try PTC - PRS Tech Center. If that doesn't work, then maybe try General Discussion.

What kind of PRS do you have? Might want to hop on the electric instruments section and post some pics!

Hi Kevin,

I live at a good driving hour south of Paris. Actually, I am not sure whether my PRS is a Standard 24 or a custom 24. I am not a PRS expert at all, I tend to think it is a standard 24. It does not have a flamed top, the closest finish I found is here on this SE standard, see the link: https://www.thomann.de/fr/prs_se_standard_24_pt.htm but mine is made in the US. Serial number 05 09 05, is it the production date?

Being new here I am not sure I am can post pics, can I?

And thanks for tips about the PTC - PRS Tech Center, I will try that.
