Hello Everybody

Hello, everybody. I just joined the forum and thought I'd introduce myself. I joined the forum after doing some research on a 2009 McCarty Korina with P-90's that I might buy. I've had a "regular" McCarty since 2002 that I love and a SE Soapbar II Maple that has been my main backup guitar for the last 6 years or so. My main guitar is a modified Highway One Telecaster that I would run into a burning building to rescue (right along with my McCarty). If I have time I'll go back for the other 9 or so guitars I have

I'm an Engineer by day and a half-ass blues guitarist by night. I'm currently in a Motown/R&B/Blues/Rock-n-Roll band called The Jeff Davis Project. We were fortunate to have found a truly gifted lady singer who can do justice to Etta, Aretha and Janis. Enough of the spam, I'll try and post pics of the Korina McCarty if I end up pulling the trigger.

Funny you should say that. When I joined the forum, I told my wife I wasn't really sure I wanted to after the demise of BaM, so I figured I'd just half-ass it. And she said, "You'll probably be the ass whole in it." In oddly accented and grammatically incorrect English, which was a bit puzzling since English is her first language, and she grew up five miles from me and she doesn't have an accent.

Hmmm...I wonder if that was really two words. Never thought of that...
