anyone know if a Ted DC245 has the same headstock thickness as a regular SC245? Wanna put some Locking tuners on.

I'm pretty sure it's the same. I was going to put Phase IIIs on my SC Ted, but I could not get the old collars out for the life of me. I would have had to enlarge the holes to get the PIII in there, which is no big deal. I tried lightly tapping with a hammer and blade, and using two sockets and a clamp. No bueno. I ended up ordering a set of Vitange Locking Klusons and installed them.

I couldn't get collars out of my Mccarty either. If they have klusons then order converted vintage lockers from John Mann.
