Hi All, I have a recently purchased 1994 Custom 24. Serial # checked out as legit but somewhere along the line owner replaced the plastic nut cover on the headstock with a piece of stainless steel. The PRS signature was also removed!! Don't know why he did it but I'd like to replace the cover and not sure how I'd ever get the signature. I understand the issues on sourcing these things legitimately but anyone know how I can do it? I assume through PRS directly. Don't really want to have to send them my guitar but that may be my only option. Thanks!

Welcome aboard.
Trussrod cover might not be impossible to source, I'd contact PRS or do a web search for it. The headstock signature is another story, that I believe would require it to be sent to the PTC.
Good luck

This.

There are NO, read NONE, legit other sources for a PRS signature decal.

U can get a new truss rod cover from the prs store link on the main prs site page. As for the signature, the guitar would have to go to prs to fix for a legit repair. Contact Matt from the PTC link on the main site page.
