Head stock decal

I have a McCarty and I have caught the head stock decal whilst cleaning it ! some of the decal has come of ! Is there a way of getting a new one ?? I live in Scotland and I can't really send my guitar back to the factory ??
Any sugestions please ??

I just shipped mine to the PTC, cost $250 plus shipping both ways to replace and reapply clear coat the headstock. If it isn't too bad, you could try super glue and use a tooth pick to apply it. If you're careful it should turn out pretty good.

They -may- send it to an authorized dealer...

A similar question.... is the signature decal placed over the finish or under it??? I can feel it raised from the wood. My McCarty's PRSh decal has faded in the middle due to my own actions of wiping the headstock down. It's the only thing I can think of to make the P and R and the trademark turn silver... Curiously, if I use a bit of polish on it, it returns to gold for a bit...it's not noticable from 5 feet, but up close the gold has definately worn away or I inadvertently polished it away. Anyone else have this issue??
