HBII Piezo painted black maple back

Hi, PRS owners/lovers, this is my first post on this forum.

I came across a HBII Piezo listing on Reverb. It has a painted black maple back, as opposed to a typical featured/flame maple back that matches the top. Please forgive my ignorance of PRS products, but I am a bit suspicious. Is anyone aware of such HBII Piezo lineup?

I can’t say that I’ve seen a HBII with a painted back. Haven’t seen them all though.

Maybe a HBI with a painted back? HBII usually has flamed maple top and back. HBI usually has a hog back and maple or spruce top.

That was what I thought as well... It is item 14220436 on Reverb.

I’m thinking it would be a HB I - why paint a flame maple back all black? MODCAT should clear it up. Top is gorgeous.
