Has your McCarty satisfied your “authentic” itch?

I’m really going to need more pics to make a valid assessment about these particular axes smile
I started out with an LP Studio, then LP Standard Plus, then Class 5 then Lifeson Axcess. All are long gone! I tried an R9 a few years ago but thought it was meh. I should try a M2M one of these days.

As for more pics - you can see the push in the lower mids :)

Orca has a thicker Spanish Cedar body and weighs more than the P245T.

Those. Are. Sick.

I've had a couple LPs and a V in the past. My last LP was a 2003 classic copper top natural back.

Beautiful guitar and it sounded really good but tuning issues and it didn't really fit me so once I got my used 2000 McCarty it was gone.

I've changed my approach to tone in the last year and a half and I'm very happy about that.

I've modded my McCarty to hell and back but I love the guitar. Currently has 8515 neck dragon 1 bridge, both squabbins, adjustable bridge, kluson lockers, dual push pulls and rosewood bling everywhere.

I am doing a show end of July with the country band I've been working with and I finally got to work with my jcm800 studio head in a live situation. With my McCarty, that amp sounds amazing. I'm so happy!!!!!

I might also add that the dragon 1 bridge pickup does a pretty good single coil tone in the lower register.

Incredibly useful.
