So I have 3 S2 standard 22s...all with upgraded pups and electronics....and I was thinking is this a waste of guitar space in my apt?? Should I move 1 or 2 and grab other models?? I also have a vela...SAS...and I just grabbed the SE nf3...just when I bought them...2 of em used, they were so inexpensive at the time I couldn't resist ...S2s are fantastic!!

I have two Cu24's (Standard and Floyd) as well as 2 McCarty 594 DC's (solid and Hollowbody) and 2 Hollowbodies (HBii and 594)...

All are great and offer something different. Some may want many of the same instrument in case one needs maintenance or you need a different tuning, back ups or instruments for certain songs because you've changed the pups for example but that also feel the same or similar enough that you don't really notice or affect your playing

You may want to keep for sentimental reasons but don't really play and have several others to replace that one. Many reasons for owning multiples of the same model, its very much an individual choice - you don't have to 'sell' or limit yourself to just one of any model unless it suits you, your situation....

Not really. I like variety and would think multiple of the same guitars would simply limit my creativity. This is most of my collection as proof (with 4 594's and 3 LP Customs, it might be safe to say I found my configuration  ):

If my humor was lost on anyone, I obviously do not see an issue with multiple of the same model. I also have 2 Tremonti's to round out the "variety". When I find something I like, I usually get multiple to make sure I always have the right "fit" available.
