Hardware upgrade

I'm thinking of upgrading my hardware on my PRS Custom 22. I want to replace the turners (wing nut locking tuners) to the Phase III locking turners. Because my PRS is an older model (year 2000) are they compatible or will it require some drilling? Any thoughts?

Phase IIIs will require drilling. Phase IIs should be a drop-in; I did that on my 2000 CU22 and it worked perfectly. As long as you have the smaller form factor-backed wingers you s/b fine with the Phase IIs

Winged to phase II tuners will work!

I've replaced wings with ph II on two of mine, worked great. Highly recommended.
