Tone Matters. Use It Wisely.
My elderly Mom and I enjoyed an impromptu meal Monday (cheeseburgers and green beans). I worked T-Day with my boss and a coworker who stayed on after a separate department closed for the day.
This allowed other coworkers to spend time at home with their families, and to be honest, the pay was OK.
I'd hoped to do some grocery shopping but need to wait until the weekend for the fur to settle with the grocers. They were closed by the time I was on my way home. Thankfully, the evening was nice and I got a chance to put my feet up as well and enjoy some quiet time...
