Happy Thanksgiving dudes! This turkey sets out to prove pie are squared.

I had Thanksgiving 6 weeks ago, but in support of my friends south of the border I have sitting in my kitchen:
Pumpkin pie
45% cream from a local dairy to whip up and slather the pie with
A turkey pie, just in case the pumpkin pie doesn’t fill me up
Fixings for red wine hot chocolate
Bubbles (Mrs won two bottles on a dare)

Yes, lots to be thankful for.

Happy Thansgiving to all my forum brothers and sisters!!

Keeping it lighter as the whole family cant get together this year.
Small prime rib, mashed taters and veggie.
I always do my homemade chip dip and cocktail sauce for shrimp.

Hope all of you and family stay safe and have a fantastic holiday!!

Cheers!

Made my pumpkin pie with a graham cracker crust. The crust shrank as I "blind" baked it so I ended up not using all my pie filling. A shame, as it was pretty darn tasty. And the made from scratch whipped cream was excellent atop the pie.

Bone in turkey breast injector marinade with Garlic Butter and rubbed with Tony Chachere: Nice and juicy
Creamy Garlic Parmesan Mashed Potatoes: Delicious as always
Garlic Cheddar Drop Biscuits: A new Thanksgiving tradition I think. Yummm.
Corn: Well, it was corn so...
Gravy: Completely unnecessary. See turkey.
Pumpkin Pie with Whipped Cream: Very tasty. Just wish I had used a smaller, deeper pie pan or made more graham cracker crust.

Very small gathering. Me and the cat. She didn't seem to care much for the turkey. Probably too much garlic for her. Yes, I love garlic.
