I lucked into this Holy Grail 2 years ago. A 1 of 1 all Pernambuco Tonare Grand made for Ricky Skaggs. It's amazing , I'm blessed .
I got to meet Ricky while touring the old Ryman with Family. He gave us 14 tickets to his show that night .. When I saw the instrument for sale it was a no brainer:

I pulled her out this morning for a strum .. still blows me away . Grabbed the PS cocobolo Angelus and put a fresh set of D'Addario 80/20 bluegrass strings and WHEW these are some amazing acoustics...

That Grand is super sweet, with a cool history.

the story is WHY I couldn't resist it , the fact it is the rarest PRS every built is just cream on top.
The slimmer neck is nice , faster than the standard. The Adi top is a cannon .

My only "complaint" which isn't really .. all of my PS Acoustics are VERY picky on strings .. there is a marked difference when they go off more than any other instruments I've ever played .. but new strings .. just astounding power and clarity
