Hansomatic was a NAMM orphan and had no place to stay. So, Markie and I, being the extremely kind and generous types, offered him a place in our high class Days Inn room. However, I wasn't quite kind enough to share my bed, and here was his other choice:
So, we ordered a roll away bed, but Hans wasn't too excited about the rusty box springs and some of the spots on mattress seemed a bit suspect, so he had the dilemma of deciding between the 1) roll away, 2) a slumber party with Markie, 3) the carpet (OK that REALLY wasn't a choice), or 4) the truck. Here he is pondering his choices:

Henceforth, he is to be known as "Homeless Hanso."
I haven't slept in a van since I spent the summer of 1973 in Colorado, camping with a couple of buddies (we used tents, but slept in the van during the trip there and then on the way out to CA afterward).
