Hello all,
I have been lurking around the forum for some time for some tips and opinions on pickups.
Well so it's my first time switching pups for my old PRS guitar.
I own a 1995 PRS CE24 and swapped out HFS/VB set for a pair of Dragon 1's.
In case if anyone seeks my personal thoughts: I love the D1's. (Thank you PRS forum)
They are both great pickups, just different.

The thing is that my HFS/VB set features a hand written white label.
I've never seen any pups labeled this way on forums or markets or anywhere else.
I know that some 90's pickups come in white stickers, but I've never seen hand-written ones.
The base plate is brass, so it looks like it is from the mid-90's era.
I'm seeking some opinions on this.

It might not be anything special, (say they might have ran out those black-n-gold stickers and just wrote the names on a white sticker instead), but it seems a bit unusual and thought sharing on the forum would clear up things.

It's not unusual to see that kind of label on PRS pickups, especially when they're a new model or variant. I think they just use what they've got on hand, and sometimes they haven't had the fancy stickers made yet... I had a pickup installed by the PTC once that was labelled in ball point pen on a white label.
