Someone posted a few months ago about a promotion that the GuitarTricks site was running for a free month. Apologize that I can't recall for certain who it was (I think it was Rango). I took advantage and "loaded up". These are excellent lessons with engaging instructors and seem extremely accurate. I particularly like Anders? who I always feel is giving me the stinkeye ... "U vill learn this riff, or I vill come over and kick your a$$; stop screwin' around".
I've been playing a lot of the songs for years and thought it would be interesting to compare what I play with the recorded way. When I was working these songs, it was learn it by yourself, find a couple of guitar buddies and do a group learn or find someone just plain better to show it to you. So I've done pretty well on those songs ... not going to re-work any of them.
There are several songs that I've always wanted to learn and now I can in the easiest and most efficient manner possible. Don't have to work out tab, learn it by myself or search for youtube lessons (although a lot of youtube lessons are quite good).
Just wanted to take a moment to thank whomever posted it up, I've been having a blast learning new/different songs and playing along to the jam tracks.
Now, this is something only a true guitar nerd would notice. Every lesson I've seen of Tush has them playing a C barre at the third fret. When I listen to the original recording of the song, I swear the first time thru he is playing an open, first position C. Is it just me?
