I am in the Dallas area for the rest of the week. Are there any must see guitar stores while in town?

Thanks!

Steve

Hope you've got a car! Okay:

- McKinney, TX (30 miles from Dallas) has the Guitar Sanctuary, a unique building with unique guitars and amps. PRSH made a personal appearance here, if that gives you some idea. https://www.theguitarsanctuary.com/

- Keller, TX (also 30 miles away) has Guitar Maverick. Make an appointment to visit. JD's got the good stuff! http://guitarmaverick.com/

- North Dallas has The Tone Shop, run by Tommy Roberts, ex GC super guy. Good depth in Gretsch guitars. http://shop.toneshopguitars.com/

- North Dallas GC (yes, GC) on 635 has a good selection of better instruments including 594s. The Central Dallas GC on 75 no longer does.

- Charley's Guitars, in North Dallas. Haven't been there in years. I know it's a legendary place but I think they've been riding on the SRV mystique for a few decades. If you're nearby anyway, maybe stop by. http://www.charleysguitar.com/

You need to0 know it's not easy to get a new guitar case in the overhead bin...

Thanks for the Epic list! I will give a few of these a go!

If you drop by the Tone Shop in Addison, Texas, say hello to my friend Mark Stevens, a true troubadour performer. He sells the Taylor line in that store...
