I have 5 spares, mostly SE`S. All have been modified.

IMO, when it comes to transparent finishes that show the wood grain the pickguards look better on the dull satin finishes than they do on the high gloss of the Standards.

It`s paying the tab that`s a challenge.

I have 2 Singlecut S2s (non-satin) to replace my Custom 22s for tour.....and the quality is awesome. However, they are lacking tonally....possibly due to the top routing used? Even with different PUs they don't have the resonance/snarl/growl/girth. A little on the lifeless side tonally even though they play wonderfully.

I have USA #7`s in one guitar, and USA Mira's in 2 non-Mira guitars. They`re all great.
