Guitar Strap Shifter

Near the end of the latest Guitar Player magazine was an ad for a product I had not seen before.
I do not think I would ever utilize something like this, but there may be people out there that would.
Anyone seen this before?

Since I tend to try to hold my guitars in the most comfortable and least straining playing position for my body parameters (arm length, hand size, wrist flexibility and so on), I'm having a hard time thinking of how moving a guitar to a totally different, un-optimized position would be a plus....

What's the point? Are there people out there who can't decide on 1 position to suit their style? Not trying to be a... well fill in the blank with your own... but it seems awefully gimmicky

What they are really saying is... Do you want to look "cool" while having you guitar slung really low but you have a tough time playing more difficult techiniques based on this "un-cool" (higher) position?

It creates bad posture while playing and looks terribly uncomfortable. Pass.....oh and doesn't give SLASH TONE ! Lol

I'm pretty sure I'd enjoy seeing a whole band dressed alike 50s-early-60s style, and raising and lowering their guitars/basses at the same moment to the beat, though.

Something like that would be deliciously creepy, and therefore oh so cool.

I like this guy's creativity and ingenuity. He saw a problem and fixed it. Then took it to market. I'm too lazy and just sit on my ideas waiting for someone else to do it.

That said, I won't be buying one. My problems with guitar playing mostly involve scales, chord progressions, techniques, etc. I have a long way to go before this becomes my biggest issue.

i have a floating tremolo bridge that will stay in tune and can be drop/alt tuned without retuning all the strings... In my head.
Pizzafries are money though.
