Hi;

Well, since I'm not playing regularly in a band at the moment, I have a lot of free time on my hands. Thought that I would take the opportunity to learn some new material and polish up some technique that is outside of my normal repertoire.
Does anyone know of Windows software that will slow down mp3's and keep the same pitch. Similarly, I'm hoping to find software that will raise or change the key of the track ... say Eb to E. I find it a real pain to retune my guitar all the time plus I'm trying to play/jam in uncomfortable keys so it would be cool to be able to flip around to different keys.
Lastly, is there any software that will take a MP3 and produce tab from it?
Hopefully freeware, but I'm ok with buying a program that works well.
thx.

You already have it on your computer. Window media player...yes, the same one you have been playing everything on. It won't change the picth, and other fancy stuff, but if you just want to slow it down to work on a riff it works great. Just right click on the run button and there are options to slow, speed up, or return to normal speed. It will work until you find something fancy that you like.
