Well, after a lot of work, the guitar room in my house is finally coming together. Not sure what this room was when the house was built, but it seems like someone not pro did some work in here. Ceiling was super heavily textured, corners of the walls aren't 100% square. But there's lots of outlets. Made it prime candidate to be the guitar room. I did the ceiling up with beadboard and 1x4 trim boards since I hated the texture. I'm no pro either, it's not perfect, but way better than it was. Between all the supplies and paint, it cost me less than $200 to give the room a whole new look and be somewhere I enjoy sitting in and hanging out. Still some work to be done and decorating to do but...
Most of my amps, pedals, etc aren't kept at home since they're at the band space. Eventually I'll get a small bass amp and another Archon(hopefully) for home/backup. The black paisley/fire red would look bitchin' in this room. Played my acoustic in here a bit last night and it sounded great, even with year old strings.
