Hi everyone. Is there anywhere online I have to register my new PRS for warranty? Or is it automatic?...

Thanks in advance

Ok great. Thanks for the help. I just wanted to confirm that that was the only route for registration

If only there were some kind of electronic device that we all had in our homes that would allow us to connect directly to a specific site, kind of like a spider's web of connectivity between all of us and them...now, that would be awesome! Maybe someday, we will advance our primitive technology that far, but then again, I'm a dreamer. At least we aren't still relying on riders on horseback to file our registration info.

For the SEs, I have though a few times DOH why can't I just go online and take care of this.

For the S2 & Core, I kinda like the oldschoolyness of the sticker from the hang tag being mailed in.

What about us unlucky fellers who bought their instruments at GC and didn't get and tags or cards?

I also purchased from GC and received no hang tag in the box, but I did have a warranty card. I contacted GC and they said it was OK to register without the hang tag. Not quite having 100% trust in that answer, I contacted PRS and they verified that I could register without the tag. I'm sure PRS would probably let you do it online or else send you a blank warranty card. They were very polite and helpful when I contacted them.

I have a brand new PRS guitar on the way to me from California via slow moving pack mule. It was a GC clearance sale guitar that I bought nearly sight unseen and it got dinged up while it was in the store as they've told me. I'm not sure if they were able to find the original case case and provisions that went with it.

Paging Al Gore.....
He's too busy melting the polar ice caps right now.

I have never registered any of mine ............
Me either. Maybe I should start with this scratch & dent which is incoming.
