Hi Guys,
Just joined this forum and have a quick question:
My Custom 22 jack needs adjustment; the plug keeps falling out. I unscrewed the jack and bent the tang of the jack(the part that holds the plug inside the guitar) at an acute angle because I figured it would hold it in tighter, but it still pops out. I took out the jack again and the cable holds tight while outside the guitar but once I slip the jack back into the guitar and plug in the jack, it falls back out. Do I need a new jack or can I just rotate the jack 90 degrees or until it clears the body?

Hi Guys,
can I just rotate the jack 90 degrees or until it clears the body?
+1
the jack's pin contact is not getting enough clearance to flex and allow the plug to get fully engaged. Rotate the jack to a point where it gets maximum distance from the guitar body.

Welcome me to the forum and post up pics of your Cu22!
