Grieving a lost S2 594

I've been half way home from jams and realized I forgot my guitar. Get to talking with friends after and just forget that I haven't put it in the car. Luckily I realized right away and was able to go back and get it. One jam I left a $100 Mogami cable. That one disappeared. Still bothers me. That was the last time I took an expensive cable to a jam.

Definitely check with the authorities. Probably not likely it got turned in, but you never know. Couple of weeks ago I dropped my wallet in the parking lot of the grocery store. Went back and someone had turned it in. Even still had my money in it. Every now and then, people will surprise you.

Wow, that sucks. I left an early slide phone on the train once and that sucked, but that was nothing compared to a guitar. Good luck. I really hope you can get it back. Check with pawn shops and guitar stores! There are a lot to check, but you might find it.

Bummer. And very disappointing to me as well: the basic notion is that it would not be handed over to authorities. Let's hope it turns up!!

I really hope you are able to recover it, but if you do not, I hope that the person who "found" it does something special with it! Next SRV maybe!! Sorry for your loss, focus on the good times and I hope the lesson has been learned!!!

Man I cannot relate. That would be like me losing my kid…I mean if ever had one anyway.

I’ve left phone chargers, a jacket, a really nice suit, some sunglasses, and a couple of dead hookers in hotel rooms. None were ever there when I went back to look for them.

Sorry bro just trying to ease your pain with a little dark humor. Hope by some miracle it makes it’s way back to you. Oh and be on the lookout for a subway busker with a bad a$$ 594.
