Great article about PRS in Forbes

"It’s not unusual for buyers in England, says Mortimer, to drive 300 miles to buy a PRS."

There's a deluded statement given that PMT and Dawsons, GAK and DV247 stock them....as well as a host of smaller boutique stores,

Cool article, I dug it.

I'd certainly drive 300 miles or more for the right one, and that's here in the US where there are more dealers.

I only drove 260 miles round trip to noodle on a private stock and a hbii. But I am in the wilds of scotland

Well i'm surrounded by PRS dealers, the article does say England, not UK, whilst I would visit all the local PRS dealers for the right guitar but chances are I'd find it in my usual haunt.

Yes it is a great article and given the numbers being quoted, time to get my hands on some wood, a bandsaw and some sandpaper and glue.

Good article!

I'm quite lucky where I live as we have some good PRS stockists around.

I'm not huge fan of buying guitars online so I probably would be prepared to clock up a few miles to find 'the one'. I've travelled as far as Birmingham (GuitarGuitar) and Sheffield (Richtone) to find the right one. Wildwire's a bit out the way but I may go up there one day just to check it out as it looks impressive.
