Im pretty happy I must say, the GC here got some Polytune Clips in, so I snagged it up

It'll be nice not being limited by crapy tuners anymore.

I've always liked the poly tunes . How do you like it so far ?

I've got three tuners on the my board lol ( boss GT 100, poly tune 2 and my line 6 g70)

Poly tunes are accurate as hell , them them ...

Just ordered one myself.
think it can be used live, rather than a pedal?

So far it's very fast and responsive, and appears to be pretty accurate. I tuned a could guitars, in different tunings, without fighting it to register lower tunings (like low B and A on my MM) like other clip ons have problems with, so that's a plus. Since they claimed it'll keep up with playing, I tried it out and it appeared to register everything I played, and even showed a slight intonation issue with my Vela that my other 2 tuners never showed.

When I opened the box, I found a little surprise as well, there was a code to get the PolyTune Add-on for free, so I believe I'll be able to use it if I plug in to my computer

Have you noticed any discrepancies between the polyphonic tuning results and the more accurate single-string tuning? I read a review (can't remember where) that said that after the user tuned everything a string at a time using the most accurate mode, the polyphonic tuning showed that the guitar was out of tune. The reviewer attributed it to some sort of bug in the Polytune Clip.

I did notice a couple strings just barely flat (solid green light with barely lit red lights on the A and G strings, but not consistently) when using the polyphonic, but showed in tune individually. It might be a glitch, it might just be the best they could do. Since it seems to happen intermittently, I'll personally ignore it. I really only notice if something is out of tune when I play individual strings. Maybe if my hearing wasn't jacked up for being an idiot when I worked on planes, I'd be able to tell when something is off when playing a chord or something of the like, but I can't, and I've finally accepted it, lol.

I have a Polytune (original) pedal tuner on my board. But I'm rarely even using the board since I got a Kemper. The Kemper has a tuner built in. Once you're close, there are constant light that let you know if a string has gone flat or sharp. I'm loving it. Not to mention I have acquired (downloaded) almost every amp I've ever wanted for free...

I've had the Polytune Clip for a month or so now, and it's fantastic!! I'm amazed at how fast and accurate it is for a clip on tuner.

The only clip on tuner I ever had was one of the Snarks. The small clip that held the Sbark to the larger headstock clip broke within days. POS.

I hate to say it, but when I read this, my first thought was how much fun it would be to be in a band w/someone who has three tuners (even two) on his board, and to adjust the caibration on two of them when he's out of the room so they don't agree. Then change them again when he's out again so they disagree differently the next time. Then maybe have the keyboard player detune at the next chance, but have everyone else stay in tune with him.

Funny, nobody's ever called me and asked me to be in a band...

That sounds like it would be hilarious. Wanna be in a band?? ;)
