Hello, everybody! First post here since Birds and Moons. I'm Brazilian and in July I will be visiting the sunny California with my girl and her two kids .
They will spend a whole day at the Six Flags Park (Magic Mountain I guess) and since I do not enjoy this kind of thing, I'm planning on spend MY DAY in a guitar shop.

I will be buying a PRS and I'm searching for Custom 24's. Could you guys tell me a good shop next to that area? I contacted Guitar Center, the manager was very friendly but they do not carry PRS's in a regular basis.

Sorry if I post this at the wrong place and sorry for my terrible English.

Thanks in advance!

Guitar Center Hollywood has some stock, as does Guitar Center West LA - Only guitar centers with a "Platinum Room" are going to have much in the way of PRSi in stock. The nearest dealer with what I'd call MANY PRS in stock is Wild West Guitars - http://wildwestguitars.com/

When I go to LA I generally make a loop of GC West LA, GC Sherman Oaks, GC Hollywood, Sam Ash Hollywood....

Good Hunting! :D

I used to live in Valencia, CA, where Six Flags is located. There is nothing nearby. It's a long drive to Wild West Guitars, but I think it would be worth it. If you are in the market for a PRS, that is THE place to go.

Man, thanks a lot! I will search for these Platinum Rooms. I will have a hard, but nice time while searching for my PRS.

Guys, you really rock!! Thanks a lot for your help. It look we have a winner.
Rango, I will search for these "Platinum Rooms". It will be hard but I guess it will be very exciting!

Woundtight, I got a really frustrated, although I was expecting this, since I couldn't find anything myself. Wild West Guitars will be hard to reach, due to our road schedule (girls and their plans...). But I will try.

OFF TOPIC: I need help while watching a baseball game at the San Francisco Giants stadium in July. I found tons of websites selling the tickets and I'm about to buy at StubHub. Is it a good website?
Since I've never been at a baseball game, which are the best seats to watch it? Uphill? Middle? ANY help will be appreciated!

Wild West will be worth the effort, you can read my post about going there... ;)

I've heard of Stub Hub, but have not used them. I like to sit a few rows up on the field level behind the dugouts or on the second deck as close to the front as I can. If you sit somewhere from third base around home plate to first base... in that arc.... I think you will be happy. The out field or way up are the less desirable seats. If you compare the face value of the tickets you can pretty much tell what's good and not so good. Have fun! :D

You are coming all the way here to go to freaking Six Flags? Take them kids to Disneyland! :D

Also, Guitar Center Hollywood has plenty of PRSi, both on the regular sales floor and on the Platinum Room.

You will likely have no issues with StubHub at all. I have gotten tickets from there many times in the past. Never had an issue.

The closer to the field and the lower you are, the better. I have been to several Arizona Diamondbacks games and the best seats are always the closest. My wife's old employer had some seats that were right behind the d'backs dugout. We managed to score them one time in the 10 years she worked there. It was awesome, the best game experience I've had. Being 10 feet from the players and seeing the ball soar so far over your head is the best way to experience it. Second best was as close to behind home plate as you can get. A couple times we got maybe 10 or 15 rows back from home plate for $30 or so each. That was also fantastic.

But, for example, we once went to this place that has been rated best pizza in America several times called Pizza Bianco. We showed up at 7:00 pm and there was a 3 hour wait. So, we put our name on the list and then walked the two blocks over to the stadium and bought $6 nosebleed seats and watched the game while we waited for our table. We were so far from the action, watching on TV is a better experience (and I don't really watch baseball on TV - going to the game and getting decent seats is by far the best experience).

LOL. No! Her mother planned a trip that starts in San Francisco, I guess, and we will have the grand finale in Vegas! We will be driving all the way. So GC Hollywood sounds nice (although last time I've been in US there were real jerks called "salesman" - I hated the way they tried to sell anything to the "Brazilian tourist").
And, man, of course we will take them to Disney. Thanks!
