Going to start looking for new homes for my SE Singlecuts today...

Now your hooked there's no going back.

You need to try and find the ultra rare 53/10 version (only 50 made for the UK market)

I saw on one of your other threads that you said yours were all pretty light weights.

Mine weigh =

The 2 original 1000 piece run models

#1 (McCarty mods) Red Bernie signature headstock overlay, 1999 McCarty pickups = 9Lb 5.1oz or 4.22Kgs

#2 (Peter Green mods) Black Bernie siganture headstock overlay, Custom wound (double cream) pickups = 8Lb 10oz or 3.91Kgs

2012 full production run

#3 (Gold top re-finish) Black PRS headstock overlay, 2007 245 pickups = 8Lb 1oz or 3.65Kgs

From others I've tried later models do seem to be lighter in weight

Don't forget to add yours to the https://forums.prsguitars.com/threads/lets-see-those-bernies-245-variants.48503/ thread

Will do!

I have three now.

One with double cream Duncan Antiquitys, one with 57/08's and one still with the original Bernie pickups that will be replaced by either a set of Antiquitys with nickel covers that are in one of the SE Singlecuts I'm going to part with, or the BKP Abraxas double cream set when they get here.

I'll just put the Bernie Friedman pickups and the 245 Bernie Marsden pickups you kindly provided me with in the SE Singlecuts.

Good enough!

I don't have a large collection of expensive PRS guitars, but for my tastes, the PRS guitars I now have are the nicest PRS guitars I've ever had.

Three Bernies, two stock 90's CE22's w/Dragon I's and a '00 CE22 w/John Suhr pickups, a couple of SE Silver Skys w/Mike Gray's Chubtone pickups, and the SE Soapbar with BKP P90's.

That's it.

Sold my '95 CU22 last month and my '02 CU22 a couple of months ago. I prefer the Bernies and CE22's.

I have four core models (all stock) left to right 2006 CE-24 mahogany, 2001 Standard 22, 2001 McCarty, 2015 McCarty

I have 8 SE's in total

2011 Bernie Marsden #1 (European only first run)
2011 Bernie Marsden #2 (European only first run)
2012 Bernie Marsden #3
2016 Chris Robertson (Eyropean only first run)
2022 Hollowbody II Piezo
2010 Nick Catanese (Catanese association removed with werewolf artwork)
2013 Santana (Heavy modded with Dragon II pickups and 5 way rotary switch)
2014 Zach Myers (first european sunburst run)

The SE range are the best value for money you can get and the Bernie's are the top of the ladder, the only guitar that get roughly equal playing time to the Bernie's is my 2001 McCarty.
