Fun story to go with this one! PRS Forum member @danktat posted a thread on May 17 titled "Friday Night Drinking Thread". I was the first to respond and my words were "Giddy-up with a whisky cup!" which I typed based on the picture, and an old fiends penchant for saying "Giddy-Up" when we are drinking. The moment I hit the "Post Reply" button, I said to myself, wow, that's a song. Twenty minutes or so later, I had composed 95% of the lyrics. And so hear it is!!! @danktat was kind enough to let me use the photo he had posted in that thread (which at the moment appears to be missing) for the artwork of the song. Here is a link to the Bandcamp page where it can be listened to if you so desire - Giddy-Up With A Whiskey Cup. It will be available on most major digital platforms in the next 24 - 72 hours but that link lets you listen to it as much as you like without any of the streaming services or subscriptions.
