I need opinions quick!! A while back I traded away 2007 CU22 artist package & 2012 custom 24. Loved both guitars but something else called to me at the time. Now I can get them both back…but I would have to trade my 2023 Gibson Custom shop 1959 reissue Les Paul VOS in Dirty Lemon, also a great guitar. What’s the play here? I’ve been having issues posting pics but I’ll try. Thank you all for your opinions.

Do You Want Two Guitars Or One Guitar? Only You Can Decide This One.

If you’ve got a 594 I’d say go for it. I’d keep it if it was my only LP style guitar I owned.

Apples and oranges. Heck, fruits and vegetables. Since you've owned all three, you're in a much better position to answer that than any of us. Which one did/do you like the most would be my main deciding factor. Followed by which one is second and third and how close is the gap.

Personally as cool as the Cu22 top is.. a stoptail Cu22 does nothing for me. I'll always have a LP in the stable and my Cu24 is a special guitar where everything lined up just right for that one.

My recent experience with a Les Paul was disappointing to say the least
I'd much rather have and play a PRS
but I do agree with @SinSir you are n a better position than any of us to answer your own question

It’s tough because the majority of my guitars are PRS because they just feel and sound right to me. This Gibson is something special as far a Gibson’s go. The pickups being unpotted burstbuckers on the LP are a little tougher for me to tame as I am a high gain player, however they sound beautiful for all styles when dialed in properly. The PRS guitars are a little better for my turn up and go style. Price wise I think it’s a fair 2/1 swap. Thanks all for the feedback input.

This makes it sound like you have other PRS guitars, in which case I would keep the Les Paul.
Based on the original post, which sounded like the guitars in question were your only guitars, I would have made the trade for guitars you missed and wanted back.

I think I am in this camp as well. Although, the Cu22 is stunningly cool.

If it were me, I’d do the trade. R9s’ are quite fantastic guitars. But then again, I have a 594 and have always been primarily a Les Paul guy.

No experience with any of the three. That said, I think your answer is in your post I quoted above.

There Was A Reason You Got Rid of The PRS Stuff Initially....(I Am Not Saying It Was A Good Reason Or A Wise Reason) But You Moved Those Guitars. If They Were Able To Be Let Go Once, Will Giving Up The Paul For Them Sit Well With You Long Term? Only You Know This Answer. It Does Seem Like You Really Like The Paul So If That Is The Case, Keep It. If You Can Find A Way To Outright Buy The PRS Back (As Was Mentioned Prior) I Would Do That.

If You Had All Three In Your Hands Now, How Would You Rate Them? Always Keep Your Number 1.

Ok here’s how I lost them. I like most or many I assume buy sell and trade guitars because I like playing and collecting them so I traded the two PRS to a fellow guitar buddy for these. Great guitars still have the Jet. If they pass my play and sound test I usually keep them but some get away in my search for guitars I like. Leaning towards the trade, however I never thought an R9 come into my hands. so it’s like 52-48 right now. I need to really play the
