Gibson p-94 pickups

I was thinking of putting a set of these in my custom 22 just for something a little different then my custom 22 with the thorn buckers. Anyone ever try these ? I know Phil X used to use these pickups and he always sound great . I know there are other Humbucker sized p-90s out there but the reviews on them weren't great. the Gibsons seem to have the best all around reviews so far. I was gonna get the Phil X Arcane pickups but the shop seems to be closed now.

Check out the Lindy Fralin P-92’s. They’ve gotten great reviews. Remember, Lindy is a single coil player, and P-90’s are really single coils. Plus, he and Paul go way back.

I’ve used a P-94 in several different guitars and liked it a lot. It’s now destined for my son’s Gretsch, where it belongs.

This may help. It's a good comparison between the Gibson P-94 and the Bare Knuckle equivalent. They're both very close and sound quite good IMO.
