Title says it all, in more ways that one.

I guess I was feeling a bit Tuesday.

Never fancied myself a Santana model, but bodia and Sergio's enthusiasm for them got the best of me. When I saw this come up, I figured it was now or never.

I was ready to think there wasn't anything super special about the Santana model, and just be happy with it being a stunning color and a generally good guitar.

But WOW. There is a very special something about these, they have their own kick 4ss attitude.

I played this thing for like 4 hours last night. Could not put it down.

I love that there's no backplate, if I ever do a PS, there will be no backplate.

But I kept wondering ... what are the three divots for? Are they like the seashells?

I always sort of assumed the 3 dots on the bridge block indicated the "Gen III" bridge. But I've been wrong before, and will continue to occasionally be...

You may be onto something with the Gen III. All of mine, from 2019 onward, have those dots. Nothing before them does. Although, the "newest" I have prior to that is 2009. That has no "dots".
