Gary Moore?

I just saw a pic of Gary Moore with what looked like a Custom 24. Was he a PRS player?

I just answered my own? He did play a Custom 24 amongst other guitars. I thought he was strictly a Les Paul player.

Yes he had a couple of Custom 24 builds. If you check out the Ferry Aid charity single he plays a pink PRS for the guitar solo.

He actually played lots of different guitars. Explorers, Heritage, 335s etc. For a large part of his 80s rock phase he played a fiesta red 60s Strat.

He played Charvel guitars, too. I think the 80's were pretty much "anything goes" for Gary Moore.

I cannot imagine being able to coax that much feeling and pain out of a guitar as Mr. Moore was capable of. He was in a class of his own when it came to writing and performing on the instrument.
